Clergy ID badge

The Clergy ID Badge system is administered by the Pastoral Care Department on behalf of all Charleston area hospitals. The badge entitles the clergy person to free parking at all area hospitals while visiting their members. Submit the completed application to Carol.Causey@RSFH.com via email with the necessary forms listed on the application (business card, bulletin with your name showing, etc.)  A current headshot photo of yourself to be used on the badge must be sent also.  When the Pastoral Care Department receives the application, they will complete their part of the process and send an email to the applicant to call and make an appointment to come in and pickup their badge.  Cold calls will not be accepted. Please download and complete application.

Visiting hours

Normal visiting hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Valid clergy badge must be worn at all times.

Parking

Roper Hospital
Effective June 10, 2019 Roper Hospital implemented new control gates for parking in the Lucas Street Garage.

These new gates will enable us to better regulate who can access our parking areas and ensure parking spaces for our patients, visitors and teammates.

Clergy members who are visiting patients at Roper Hospital will pull a ticket and have it validated at Valet parking, which is near the main entrance of the hospital on Calhoun Street, from 6 a.m.- 9 p.m. If you are here after 9 p.m., you will need to get a validation sticker from the staff on the unit you are visiting.

Clergy who are visiting patients at MUSC will need to park in the following garages and not in Roper Hospital garages.

Ashley Rutledge Parking Garage - entrances on Ashley and Rutledge Avenues
Courtenay Drive Parking Garage at Ashley River Tower (ART) - entrance just off of Courtenay Drive and Charleston Center Drives

Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital
There are designated clergy parking spaces.

Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital
Clergy should park near the front entrance.

Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital
Clergy should park in front of the Outpatient Services entrance.
