Mark and Noula Cumins

In August of 2023, a very generous gift made by Mark and Noula Cumins established and endowed the Mark and Noula Cumins Nursing Scholarship. The endowed scholarship will support the nursing scholarship program at Roper St. Francis Healthcare.

Investing in our future nursing workforce

Noula is a trained emergency and trauma care nurse, and Mark is the founder and co-owner of Homegrown Hospitality Group. With their longstanding connections to healthcare and the Lowcountry, this commitment to supporting nurses is near and dear to their hearts.

“With Noula’s background in nursing and my care being overseen by Dr. David Ellison for almost 20 years, this gift just made sense to us – and we could not think of a better way to honor all he has done for us as a family,” said Mr. Cumins.

Our annual Spirit of Caring Golf Tournament will be held in honor of Mark and Noula Cumins this year. All proceeds from the tournament will support nursing scholarships. If you would like to support Mark and Noula’s scholarship, we welcome you to do so by completing a contribution form. Every year, the tournament brings dozens of golfers together to celebrate nurses and raise money to benefit the Roper St. Francis Foundation’s Nursing Scholarship Fund.
