Monday, May 16, 2022 - Three-peat: RSFH named among ‘Best Places to Work’ nationally for third consecutive year

For the third consecutive year, Roper St. Francis Healthcare is being honored as one of the top 150 ‘Best Places to Work’ in healthcare.

The recognition program from Modern Healthcare honors workplaces throughout the industry that empower employees to provide patients and customers with the best care, products and services.

“Earning this recognition three years in a row is a testament to our special culture at Roper St. Francis Healthcare,” said Dr. Jeffrey DiLisi, president and chief executive officer of Roper St. Francis Healthcare. “Many of our teammates use the word ‘family’ to describe their colleagues, and these close working relationships result in safe, high-quality care as well as an exceptional patient experience.”

This latest accolade comes on the heels of another national award announced last week. Three Roper St. Healthcare hospitals – Roper Hospital, Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital and Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital – received the highest grades from Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades, which honors hospitals across the country for protecting patients from preventable harm or error.

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is one of two healthcare employers in South Carolina to make the Modern Healthcare list; the other was Pelham Medical Center in Greer, S.C.

Last year, RSFH ranked No. 30 on the Modern Healthcare list, an improvement of 19 spots from the previous year. RSFH’s exact ranking for 2022 will be announced in September.
