Thursday, June 13, 2024 - Roper Hospital Radiation Oncology team first in SC to use new imaging technology

Roper Hospital’s Radiation Oncology team treated their first patient using the latest machine equipped with Halcyon HyperSight technology, establishing Roper St. Francis Healthcare as the first in South Carolina to use this imaging advancement.

With HyperSight, the team can quickly capture larger and clearer images, which helps reduce discomfort for cancer patients in the Halcyon machine.

Part of the Roper St. Francis Healthcare 2030 strategic plan is to modernize technology so RSFH can better serve future generations throughout the Charleston area.
