Roper St. Francis Foundation unveils new philanthropy wall in Roper Hospital lobby
CHARLESTON (Oct. 1, 2014) - Roper St. Francis Foundation donors gathered on Sept. 30 for the unveiling of the new philanthropy wall in the lobby of Roper Hospital.
The philanthropy wall honors and celebrates 10 years of friends, patients and community members who have given back to Roper St. Francis Healthcare.
“We are excited and grateful to have this opportunity to recognize our donors and volunteers who have given to support the mission of Roper St. Francis Healthcare,” said Ashley W. Redmond, executive director of the Roper St. Francis Foundation. “This wall will stand as a true testament to their generosity.”
While the Foundation’s first philanthropy wall is in the lobby of Roper Hospital, it represents the history of the entire healthcare system and the impact donors have made in our ability to provide compassionate, innovative care.
The wall also recognizes 2013 Roper Xavier Society members, many of whom are Roper St. Francis Healthcare teammates and physicians. Other donors who are featured on the wall include:
- Roper St. Francis Foundation Physician Champion Award recipients
- Roper St. Francis Foundation Board Leadership Award recipients
- Lifetime Giving or donors who have made a significant cumulative lifetime commitment to Roper St. Francis Healthcare
- Legacy Circle or donors who have left Roper St. Francis Healthcare in their estate plans.
