Nurses deliver baby in car at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital
Angela Rogers knew it was time to head to Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in West Ashley as her contractions were picking up.
With husband Houston behind the wheel, they made the trek toward the hospital when things really got interesting. As they got close to our facility, Angela knew baby Hazel may not want to wait as long as mom and dad would have liked.
When Houston got to the side entrance of our Women's and Children's center, he knew there was little time to waste. He jumped to the first door he saw and pushed an intercom button. When reaching our nursing staff, they quickly ran to the scene to discover the time for a delivery inside the hospital had passed.
