At the Roper Rehabilitation
Hospital we help individuals whose functional
abilities are altered by debilitating illness

- Hospital within a hospital setting for immediate access to testing, diagnosis and treatment of other conditions
- Community Re-entry Program where patients practice new skills during supervised outings in the community
- Stroke Recovery Program
- Real Life Room for practical
application of real life physical barriers. Features a car to practice transfers, steps, a ramp and curb cut to practice ambulation and wheelchair skills.
- Fully equipped kitchen and laundry room to work on ADL's (Activities of Daily Living)
- A treatment gym, activity room, and dining room
- Patient rooms with accessible furnishings, including cabinets, closets, and "roll under" sink and counter
- Monthly support group meetings for amputation and stroke
