Gail Rearden, MD Joins Roper St. Francis Medical Staff:
North Charleston Physician To Host Community Open House October 14

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is pleased to announce that Gail L. Rearden, MD has joined the organization’s medical staff. Dr. Rearden will practice Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine at Roper St. Francis Medical Care – North Charleston, 2075 Eagle Landing Boulevard in North Charleston.

The community is invited to take part in a special open house to be held Sunday, October 14 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at Dr. Rearden’s North Charleston office. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Dr. Rearden’s new office as well as an opportunity for the public to take advantage of free health information and blood pressure screenings. Light refreshments will also be served.

Dr. Rearden, who is board certified in Internal Medicine, received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She also completed a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

A native of Walterboro, SC, Dr. Rearden graduated from Walterboro High School and completed undergraduate studies at Duke University where she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry. Dr. Rearden currently resides in North Charleston. She is a member of W.O.R.D. Ministries Christian Center. She is a recipient of the Lt. Governor’s Office on Aging’s Geriatric Loan Forgiveness Award. In her leisure time, Dr. Rearden enjoys tennis and spending time with her family.
