Joyce Noriega, M.D., Joins Roper St. Francis Medical Staff

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is pleased to announce that Joyce Argelia Noriega, M.D., has joined the organization’s medical staff.  Dr. Noriega, who is fluent in Spanish, will practice with Obstetrics & Gynecology, 1364 Ashley River Road, West Ashley.

Dr. Noriega is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School where she received an M.D. degree in 1995.  She completed her residency at the Charleston Medical Center, West Virginia University, and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.  She previously practiced medicine in Bedford, TX, and Corpus Christi, TX.

A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Noriega attended undergraduate school at the University of California Irvine where she received a B.S. degree in biology.  She also studied at the University of University of Michigan School of Public Health.

Dr. Noriega lives in Mount Pleasant with her family.
